One of the few songs from this disc ever to be performed live. A mixture of different guitar influences as only a Hi-Tech Hillbilly can do. The first chord,B11,came from Steve Vai's CALL IT SLEEP. After discovering that resolving to Cm7 made for a cool little vamp the melody was inspired by Dickey Betts' instrumentals - IN MEMORY OF ELIZABETH REED,LES BRERS IN A MINOR,JESSICA - with a touch of Santana. The harmonies are the same as Betts' - 3rd up & 5th down. The middle section was originally intended to highlight African and Cuban percussion.
