The price to pay for recording on a friend's 4-track. This was in those pre-historic days when only a handful of musicians had home studios and they used TAPE! Hard for the young kids nowadays to understand.
The singer chick was Stephanie Ann Sellers and she later became part of the inspiration for BLEACH BLONDE BIMBO (BITCH FROM HELL). Besides always singing a quarter tone off she was dingy. At 3:30 in the morning I had lost what little patience I already had, as heard before the song starts. We only had one set of headphones and no mic stand so I wore them sitting on the arm of the couch with the mic taped to my leg and she sang in the bathroom where she could hear my acoustic without it bleeding through. The slide was overdubbed later. Ah
