This was the song that landed Gary the gig. The old drummer was always dragging. When a drum machine was plugged into the PA to use as a click track he still dragged. When he remarked "I think the drum machine is speeding up" jaws hit the floor.

In comes Gary Rakow to audition. Gary was a schooled musician way above many of the others that passed through the group, usually only briefly. Ron tried to explain the drum intro to him, J.J. shortened into normal musician language and Gary nailed it the first time. Being the only schooled musicians in the group he and J.J. went on to become a rock-solid, air tight rhythm section that eventually cut their parts in a single weekend while everybody else took months.
