Originally there was going to be a chorus of background singers at the end singing the refrain on the fade out. One idea was to get everybody's friends around a single microphone and let then have a little spot on the album. Another was to hit up a black church (preferably Baptist) for "the real deal". The band would have faded out while the vocals would have kept going, eventually fading out later. Unfortunately it was another one of those great ideas that never happened.
