CREAMED CORN could just as easily been called BURNT TOAST. Not a reference to food, singer Ron Brewer nearly died from 3rd degree burns some years before this album was cut. In rehearsals he wanted to the bass to start it off. J.J. said it should sound "like a death march" and with help from drummer Gary Rakow it came together.
