J.J. Vicars: Photos

2009

And now for something different...
Off to a fresh start...
Behave, Flash!
The one and only Jerry & J.J. Vicars gig to date. 5/1/09 @ Ben's Cafe
This was the only gig we've done together. All the other gigs were me on bass with his group. Jimmy Mack on drums (right)
And of course Mark Schwarz on bass (left). Who else? Mark also played bass the one time Jerry played on a J.J.V. gig. Mark is part of Vicars history!
Lookin' sharp @ Annie Gator Records HQ
On the way to a gig @ FCCJ. Eat your heart out Jimmie Vaughan! LOL
Mark Scharz and JJV moonlighting at the Press Club, May 9th.
Soundcheck and the PA still isn't working.
But the show must go on...
Milling around after at Atsugi Bon Odori Fest while the Jeremy Graham Band plays.
Waiting to eat after most of the bands had finished. Atsugi Bon Odori Fest, August 15th.
October 22nd, first show at Crawfish in Akasaka and last show with the Strat.
The tall cieling with balcony makes for great acoustics. Best sounding venue around.
Fender amp with built-in tremolo added the right touch of trash and twang.
November 7th, first show with the Modbird guitar built by Mark Schwarz.
That gig was rockin' so good we had the audience in the palm of our hands.
It's hard not enjoy yourself when you know you're rocking the hell out of the place and driving people wild.
She's one of a kind and she's all mine!
A pair of Mark Schwarz creations on stage together, the ModBird guitar and the Rocket Revenger bass.
Smacking the whammy @Crawfish 11/21
Running two Fender amps and a Tele for backup.
Jin Nagami on bass and Hiromi w/ leopard-print hat filling in on drums for Masaki Shibata.
