Meltdown - MP3 single
Raising money for the survivors of the March 11th, 2011 earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan with this rockin' Surf instrumental. While many foreign residents fled Japan in panic over the Fukushima nuclear reactor J.J. Vicars was one of many who stayed put and reported the real news in contrast to the U.S. media's sensationalist "armageddon" spin. He cracked that he was going to write a Link Wray styled instrumental and call it MELTDOWN, to which Mississippi native and Orange, TX resident Bull Durham commented that he would add some keys and they'd be smokin'! Never one to back down from a sick joke, J.J. broke out his Epiphone WildKat and started noodling around. By the end of the weekend the instrumental was written and on Monday, March 21st, made its stage debut during a fundraiser concert. All money from the sale of MELTDOWN goes directly to Tohoku survivors.
Meltdown (Dance remix) - MP3 single
Continuing to raise money for the survivors of the March 11th, 2011 earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan with a Dance remix of this rockin' Surf instrumental. Only J.J. Vicars could pull off a Dance remix of a Surf instrumental and do it with such flair!

Heartland - CD (2007)
On his third disc guitar-slinger J.J. Vicars wanders up north for a dark ride through the heartland of America. Inspired by an intoxicated mix of The Stones, Humble Pie, and early Skynyrd with touches of Oscar Wilde and Charles Bukowski this is his heaviest and hardest rocking album ever.
Hi-Tech Hillbilly - CD (2006)
On his sophmore disc -an eclectic collection of his earliest songs- guitarist J.J. Vicars navigates his trademark guitar style through various musical landscapes, from blazing rockers to tender ballads and Jazz/Funk workouts. Further flexing his musical muscle he recorded the album at his own Jindaiji Monkey Studio playing all the instruments himself including layer upon layer of guitars.
Sci-Fi Diner - CD (2005)
The debut album. Eight songs recorded in Austin, TX with J.J. Barrera (Tailgators) on bass and Mike Buck (Leroi Bros) on drums and five solo acoustic numbers.
